My art is very much about losing myself in the moment, that is when I get my best and most dynamic results.
A form of mindfulness takes over as I dance with the pigments to create organic, naturally formed marks on paper and other natural materials.

Watercolours never cease to surprise. They are unpredictable, spontaneous, and wilful. You need to work in the moment - to make quick decisions, to take risks, to not be afraid of the pigment. Accept the results, good or bad, and work with them.

In my class, I like to challenge the students to think outside the box to create and express what they are feeling. My tutoring style is very hands-on with live demos with plenty of fun. I also keep the class on its toes with interesting topics and creative briefs to keep them focused and inspired
