Introduction
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your participation in classes, workshops, and events ("Activities") organised by Avoncroft Arts Society ("We", "Us", "Our"). By booking or attending any of our Activities, you agree to comply with these Terms.
1. Booking and Payments
1.1 Booking Process: To book a place in any of our Activities, you must complete the registration process via our website or through direct communication with our administrative team.
1.2 Payment: Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise stated. Payment can be made online or through any other payment method we specify

1.3 Confirmation: Your booking is confirmed only after receiving full payment. You will receive a confirmation email or receipt as proof of your booking.
1.4 Price Changes: We reserve the right to change the prices of our Activities at any time. However, once you have booked and paid, the price for that booking is fixed.
2. Cancellations and Refunds
2.1 Cancellations by You: Please notify us immediately if you need to cancel your booking. Cancellations made at least 7 days before the start of the Activity will receive a full refund. Cancellations made less than 7 days before the start of the Activity may not be eligible for a refund at our discretion.
2.2 Cancellations by Us: We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any Activity due to unforeseen circumstances or if the minimum participant numbers are unmet. You will be offered an alternative date or a full refund in such cases.
2.3 Non-Attendance: No refund will be provided if you fail to attend an Activity without prior notice.
3. Changes to Activities
3.1 Content Changes: We reserve the right to make minor changes to the content, instructors, or venue of an Activity without notice, provided these changes do not materially affect the quality or overall experience.
3.2 Schedule Changes: Any significant changes to an activity’s schedule, location, or content will be communicated to you in advance. In such cases, you may accept the changes or request a refund.
4. Participation and Conduct
4.1 Eligibility: Our Activities are open to individuals of all skill levels unless otherwise stated. Certain Activities may have specific prerequisites, which will be clearly outlined in the Activity description.
4.2 Code of Conduct: We strive to maintain a welcoming and inclusive environment. Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards instructors, fellow participants, and staff. Any disruptive, disrespectful, or inappropriate behaviour may result in your removal from the Activity without a refund.
4.3 Health and Safety: You are responsible for your own health and safety during the Activity. Please inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or special requirements before attending. By participating, you confirm that you are in good health and fit to participate in the chosen Activity.
5. Liability
5.1 Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Avoncroft Arts Society shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or expense suffered by you or any third party in connection with your participation in our Activities, except where our negligence causes such loss.
5.2 Personal Belongings: You are responsible for your personal belongings during the Activities. We are not liable for any loss or damage to your property.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Copyright: All materials provided during our Activities, including but not limited to course materials, handouts, and digital content, are the intellectual property of Avoncroft Arts Society or the respective instructors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or share these materials without our permission.
7. Privacy
7.1 Data Protection: We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. Any data collected during the booking process or your participation in our Activities will be handled per our Privacy Policy and the Data Protection Act 2018.
8. Governing Law
8.1 Jurisdiction: These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
