I studied History and History of Art at Emmanuel College, Cambridge and initially taught History up to A level at King Edward VI Camp Hill School for Girls in Kings Heath and became Head of History at Handsworth Boys Grammar. then became Head of Psychology at Camp Hill and, in more recent years, Head of History of Art at King Edward VI College in Stourbridge, retiring from this job in 2021.

I co-wrote the online A level History of Art course for the National Extension College and also tutor on this course. I retired from the classroom partly to pursue my own art, but History of Art remains a passion and I like sharing this with others!
