Tamara Carse
Tutor - Art & Pottery
Experienced arts and pottery tutor Tamara has provided successful and flexible classes for learners of all ages and abilities for over 15 years. She holds a First-Class Degree in Ceramics and glass and has worked with adults, older people, children, and people with acquired brain injuries, for whom arts, crafts, and pottery provided therapeutic benefits.
Much of Tamara’s experience was gained at the former Worcester Arts Workshop, where she developed her practical skills as a pottery technician and taught regular pottery classes.
Her experience of working for the national acquired brain injury charity Headway provided continual opportunities to experiment with new arts, crafts, and pottery techniques. Tamara is able to personalise every session to the unique needs of a diverse range of clients, ensuring that each individual gets the most out of their learning experience. Tamara has also delivered pottery classes for the West Midlands adult education programme Learning4Life.
Throughout her career, Tamara has also produced her artwork whenever possible, including large-scale acrylic on canvas, watercolours, and gouache.
